Community Supported Art Meet & Greet -- Donut -- Bocce Party!
@ Martha -- 2113 E York St, Philadelphia
Please RSVP so we make enough donuts by clicking this link.

Grizzly Grizzly & Co. is hosting a homemade donut party on Saturday May 20 from 12PM – 4PM at Martha in Kensington. This is a great chance to meet the local artists behind the 2017 Community Supported Art share, see some of their work in progress, and find out more about the project.... all while enjoying fresh (and free!) donuts.

Six local artists – Grimaldi Baez, Leah Bailis, Marc Blumthal, Julianna Foster, Alexis Nutini, and Lucia Thomé – are included in the 2017 Community Supported Art share.  Examples of their work will be displayed in Martha’s mezzanine, and images from our studio visits will be on view on Martha’s projectors. Better yet – they’ll be there in person, so you can get to know your neighbor artists!  CSA organizers will be on hand to get you a donut – and give you more information about how to become a 2017 Community Supported Art shareholder, so that you can look forward to getting six new artworks made by local artists this Fall.

Hundreds of hot, fresh donuts – made using a generations-old Pennsylvania Dutch donut recipe – will be on offer, accompanied by Little Baby's Smoked Cinnamon ice cream, for those looking for a cool treat.  To round out your locally-sourced afternoon, Vault Brewing's Breakfast Stout will be on tap - and purchases help support the CSA!
Our current shareholders will be able to pick up their special-edition screenprint by artist Anne Schaefer at this event.  There will be a limited number of prints available to new shareholders signing up on-site.

Thanks to Martha, Little Baby's Ice Cream, and Vault Brewing for supporting this event and the 2017 Community Supported Art program!

Thanks to everyone who attended our Spring Pop-Up Exhibition and Open Studios.

There will be a series of three pick up events scheduled for the 2017 CSA Season.

These events will open to the public and provide a chance for artists and 'subscribers' to meet in a casual setting. In addition to lively conversation, food and drink, these events will include artists demonstrations and some surprises along the way.

Pick-up Events will occur in September, October and December 2017.

Join our mailing list to stay tuned for the exact schedule and venues.
You can see the events from our 2012 Community Supported Art program here.
