About the Project
Like a Community Supported Agriculture program, CSA supports a direct maker-to-buyer relationship between artists and collectors working and living in the Philadelphia region. Featuring a diverse range of contemporary art from local artists, the program offers curated “shares” of innovative and affordable artwork.
How the CSA Works
Grizzly Grizzly & CO. have commissioned six artists to make 50 “shares” for this program. These shares include a range of diverse art objects including sculpture, prints, paintings, rings, records, photographs, and drawings. Each work is unique, and even multiples will be individualized. Interested collectors will purchase a share (aka a “subscription”) and in return will receive three “farm boxes” of locally produced artwork at intervals throughout the season. The first pick up will be in September 2017 and the last will be in December 2017.
The Cost
Each share costs $475 for six separate artworks, one from each of the 2017 CSA Artists.
There will be only 50 shares available on a first-come basis.
Shares will be available starting on December 2, 2016 at 5PM by clicking here.
